Voilà nous y sommes ... Après un long trajet de plusieurs mois le moment tant attendu est enfin arrivé. L'album est mastérisé ... dompté telle la bête qui ne voulait se rendre ... Le mastering est fait! Quelle joie et quel moment de bonheur au moment du pressage final du fameux red book, le CD qui servira à la production!

Un autre moment magique fut quand Glenn Miller (plus de 100 disques de platine & d'or) écouta le mix pour la première fois et laissa faire ses oreilles et ses doigts sur la table de mixage pour booster au max les chansons de l'album. Aussi un grand moment magique de savoir que Glenn prend le temps entre deux pointures comme Tina Turner et Phil Collins pour mixer l'album de REEL. On se sent un peu superstar! Le plus extraordinaire est d'être en face d'une légende vivante de la musique! Impressionant et surtout super cool comme personne! Une vraie personnalité!

Maintenant le fun qui se présente devant nous est de vous faire découvrir tout cela. Tout se prépare en coulisses et dès demain les surprises commençeront à arriver! Enfin quelque chose pour vous!

Well here we are at last ... After all these months of waiting and working this moment in time has come. The album is mastered like the unleashed beast it was at start. Finally we got it mastered and it sounds great! The mastering is done!

What a joy that  moment was when the famous red book was produced, the CD with which all others will be printed!

Another great moment was when Glenn Miller (more than hundreds of platinum and gold albums) listened to the mix and let his ears and hands work on the mixing table boosting the songs to the max. Also to know that time was taken to mix the album between superstars like Tina Turner and Phil Collins can only bring joy to our hearts. We felt almost like superstars! Actually it was great to have a chance to talk to a legend in rock music and history! A great guy!

Now all the fun that will come will be finally for you all to discover. You've been waiting for this ... Now your time has come! Many things happening backstage! stay tuned and surprises and getting ready for you!

Nous sommes en train d'entrer dans le studio afin de préparer les fameux CD qui seront mastérisés demain au Greenwood Studios à Basel par le tout grand spécialiste qu'est Glenn Miller. En effet des centaines d'albums furent mastérisés par ses soins et donc nous comptons beaucoup là dessus aussi.

En fait il y a pas grand chose à faire comme travail de préparation: juste préparer sur un support CD tout l'album comme nous le voulons aves les morceaux dans l'ordre ainsi que les temps entre les chansons. Ce CD qui doit rester le plus propre possible aura son double au cas où il y aurait un défaut de dernière minute et il sera donc la base du travail magique de demain. Comment marche le mastering? Cela est une vraie question! Auquel nous avons pas vraiment de réponse vu le matériel utilisé par Glenn. Ce qui est sûr que le son sous forme digitale va passer par une multitudes de racks à effets, compresseurs, équaliseurs etc ... pour sortir sur les enceintes du studio et être booster au max. Cela sera un instant magique! Nous allons nous laissé berçer par la magie du mastering! Pour "Lithium" ceci est le tout tout tout dernier pas avant la finalisation! Un vrai moment de bonheur cela sera!

We are just entering the studio to prepare the needed CD which will go through the mastering process tomorrow at Greenwood Studios in Basel by the hands of Mister Glenn Miller! Indeed and as indicated on the website hundreds of albums were mastered by him and his magic touch. Of course we are fully counting on that!

Well the preparation work is quite simple. We will burn a CD will all the songs of the album and the timing between songs. We will then produce a second one as back up. Tomorrow one CD will go through the magical process of mastering to which it is difficult to say something as it is a very mysterious process. All we can tell you in that the songs will go through many racks of special effects, compressors, equalizers etc .... and come out on the speakers boosted as ever! It will be magical! We are going to let ourselves go, discover the process & enjoy the full magic! For "Lithium" the very final step before being complete! A true moment of joy!

Aujourd'hui est une journée relax.

Certainement un des derniers jours de beau temps avant la longue période hivernale se présentant à nous!

Donc aujourd'hui cela fut une journée relax avec un peu de bateau. La température clémente en cette fin de saison contraste un peu aussi. Ces derniers jours furent très remplis. L'album arrivant à son terme et en attendant l'échéance de mardi pour le mastering, le temps parait presque long! Mais il y a encore tant de choses à faire et préparer pour la sortie de l'album ... Donc aujourd'hui est simplement une journée relax pour profiter de la vie et du soleil!

Today is a relaxing day and one of the last nice before the coming winter which lies ahead of us. So today was a day to do some boating! The temperature is so nice and warm that it feels just great.

The last days of the recording were pretty much intense and now all there is is the waiting of the mastering on tuesday. It seems almost like empty! But there are still so many things to do and prepare for the album's release that today is a day to enjoy fully!
