Bonjour tout le monde!

Alors que le groupe prépare la finale régionale du concours zicmeup.com 2008, nous venons de recevoir les informations suivantes que suite à l'Euro 2008 qui se jouera en Suisse, les différentes villes d'Yverdon et Nyon n'ont pas de budget supplémentaire pour assurer la fête de la musique et ont fini par tracer une tonne de groupes qui ne joueront donc pas cette année dans le cadre de la manifestation. Donc les concerts du 21 juin 2008 sont annulés! Désolé de cela!

Dommage mais dès que nous aurons de nouvelles dates nous vous le ferons savoir où comment quand quoi :-)

As the band is getting ready for the regional final of the zicmeup.com contest 2008, we just received information that due to the Euro 2008 that takes place in Switzerland, the cities of Yverdon and Nyon do not have enough money to organize the fête de la musique and cancelled tons of bands who wanted to play for the event. So no shows on June 21st 2008!

sorry for that!

It is sad but as soon as we have something new we will let you know where, when, how :-)

Voici une confirmation qui vient de tomber!

REEL jouera LIVE le 10 novembre prochain à Travers, Suisse vers 20h00 pour un set qui s'annonce déjà comme très rock and la fameuse REEL touch! Venez nombreux!

Here a confirmation that just came in!

REEL will be playing LIVE on November 10th, 2007 in Travers, Switzerland around 8 PM for a full set of sheer REEL rock music!  Come in numbers!

16h30 tapante l'intro de Echoes sonne dans les haut-parleurs de la grande scène et le groupe monte sur scène sous un soleil qui tape fort. En effet il fait très très chaud même si la météo du matin était plutôt sous la pluie! Le groupe enchaine avec 15 Seconds / Way you Were / Another Day un bon bloc solide de rock & reel music. Suit Livin' on Livin' avec ensuite la suite plus "spatiale" avec des titres comme It Never Rains et Who's Behind the Door? La foule présente découvre la musique avec enthousiasme ce qui est bien sûr très prometteur. Just a Dream Away suit dans la foulée et Rythms of Life avec la présentation des musiciens, met tout le monde d'accord. REEL sonne superbement sur scène, il faut dire que la scène est exceptionnelle. BENE est sensass avec le public, un vrai échange!

En hommage aux artistes disparus le groupe suit avec Reel Music et termine le set de 60 mins avec le titre phare de l'album Lithium Heat of the Action avec comme fin finale la 4ème partie de fin Shadows in the Stream of Love!

Un excellent set de la part du band tant les réactions du public furent superbes après le concert. BENE et les boys ont passé pas mal de temps à discuter avec des "fans" qui étaient très intéressés d'en savoir plus! Que du bonheur! REEL really rocks!

430 PM sharp the intro of Echoes is heard in the speakers of the main stage and the band goes on under a true hot burning sun! At least that is better as the day started under pouring rain! The band kicks off with 15 Seconds / Way you Were / Another Day for a solid bloc of rock & reel music. Then follows Livin' on Livin' bringing the band to the more "spacy" part of the show with songs such as It Never Rains and Who's Behind the Door? Back to solid rock music with Just a Dream Away followed by Rythms of Life with the presentation of the musicians, which makes all agree REEL sounds superb on stage and BENE is at his best regarding stage performance and talking with the crowd!

In memory to all fallen artists the band plays Reel Music and finishes off the 60 mins set with the main title of the album Lithium Heat of the Action followed as closing end with the 4th part of Shadows in the Streal of Love!

Upon the crowd's reaction the set of the band has been an excellent one! BENE and the boys spend some time talking to "fans" at the end of the show who were very interested to know more about the band, the music and of course them! Just sheer great show! REEL really rocks!

666 kms plus tard et de retour sur Neuchâtel, REEL a fait un excellent show du côté de Manno au Tessin. Tout fut super! Surtout la météo qui était au rendez-vous! BENE a même eu l'occasion d'échanger quelques mots avec Leo Leoni, guitariste de Gotthard, qui était présent à ce mini openair par amitiés pour Roberto, l'organisateur et patron du Pelican Drive.

Blend71 était aussi de la partie et joua avant REEL. Un son bien lourd dans le style des groupes comme Evanescence! Un bon concert aussi!

666 kms later and back in Neuchâtel, REEL played a solid show in Manno, Ticino. Indeed all went well even the weather which was nice and sunny! BENE got the chance to meet Leo Leoni, guitarist of Gotthard, who was present at the mini openair as close friend to Roberto who organized it and boss of the Pelican Drive!

Blend71 played also as 1st band! They played a solid show also with a big sound reminding us bands like Evanescence!

23h00 tapante les lumières de la salle s'éteignent, le groupe est prêt et attaque d'entrée avec 15 Seconds puis Way you Were et termine la 1ère partie du set avec Another Day. Suite à la présentation de l'album, suit Livin' on Livin' puis Heat of the Action. Le groupe attaque la dernière partie avec Rythms of Life et la présentation des musiciens plus une fin différente de celle du concert du 28.04, terminant le set de presque 50 minutes avec une version plus complète et plus longue de Reel Music. Le groupe rejoua le single Heat of the Action et termina le concert avec la 4ème partie de Shadows in the Stream of Love permettant de clôturer ce concert par une partie explosive, pleine d'énergie et de reel rock attitude! Dans l'ensemble un très bon concert dans une configuration différente mais bien ancré sur les chansons de l'album et un travail excellent. Vivement le prochain concert: 02.06.07 à Manno au Tessin, Suisse.

23h00 the lights went off and the band hit the stage with 15 Seconds followed by Way you Were and finished the first part with the crunchy Another Day. Blasting sound that raised the attention by the audience. Then presentation of the album with Livin' on Livin' followed by Heat of the Action. The band finishes the last part of the set with Rythms of Life with the presentation of the musicians and a new ending, closing the 50 minutes set with a longer version of Reel Music. The band played once more the single Heat of the Action and added a new ending with the 4th part of the song Shadows in the Stream of Love closing the set with a crunchier and more rockier approach. In all a very good concert even in a different configuration based on the solid songs of the album andf the excellent band work! Soon another live show: See you on 02.06.07 in Manno, Ticino, Switzerland

Une nouvelle date pour REEL vient de se confirmer! En effet le groupe jouera dans le cadre du festival de la musique qui se tiendra à Yverdon-les-Bains, Suisse le 21 juin prochain sur la scène principale de 16h00 à 17h00 pour un set de 50 minutes environ. A new date for REEL has been confirmed. Indeed the band will play at the festival de la musique in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland on June 21st 2007 between 16h00 and 17h00 on the main stage.
