En effet REEL participe au casting pour faire la 1ère partie du concert de la Star Academy le 24 juin prochain qui aura lieu à Neuchâtel au Stade de la Maladière. Suspense, suspense! On vous informera du résultat!

Indeed REEL will participate at the casting for the 1st part of the show of the french Star Academy which will take place on June 24th in Neuchâtel at the famous Stade de la Maladière! well we will see what happens and keep you posted about the results!

Voilà voilà!

Le résultat final est connu pour le fameux concours pour l'openair de Zurich. REEL termine à la 7ème place avec plus de 900 votes. Insuffisant pour continuer mais ma foi un très bon résultat puisque le groupe était dans le top 10 depuis le début de ce concours.

So so!

We have now the final result for the famous openair Zurich contest! REEL finishes 7th with over 900 votes. That is not enough to continue but still a very good result as the band waqs in the top 10 list since the start. So that is very positive and encouraging!

Alors qu'il a t-il de neuf sur reelmusic.ch?

Comme vous avez pu le lire hier, le mixage des chansons du nouvel album a commencé. Sinon nous avons rajouté quelques albums photos! En voici le descriptif!

REEL clothing: Les premiers t-shirts de REEL sont prêts et disponibles! Cela fut un grand moment que de porter le t-shirt de son propre groupe!

Urban Art: les murs de la salle où on a tournée le clip video sont remplis de graphitis urbains. Voici quelques exemples de cet art si controversé.

Make up!: Quelques photos de la séance de maquillage pour les besoins du tournage

As you have read yesterday the mix of the songs for the new album has started. We also have added some new photos albums!

REEL clothing: The first t-shirt of the band. It is great to wear the t-shkrt of your own band! What a feeling!

Urban Art: The walls of the hall used to shoot the video is full of urban graphitis. So here some examples of that controversial art!

En tout cas le résultat est superbe et les premiers essais sont en cours pour tester la qualité de ces plectres par des sessions guitare très soniques!

Quel plaisir de découvrir que le site Muzikvoice, plateforme web pour REEL dédiée au marché UK, prend le temps d'écouter la musique et surtout d'écrire une critique pertinente et constructive.

Bien sûr et vous le savez depuis le début, REEL est très ouvert aux critiques et prend en compte tout ce qui est dit. Le groupe croit totalement en sa musique, en ses chansons, en ses choix musicaux. La direction est prise même si la route pour Babylone est encore longue. Le groupe joue une musique qui n'est pas toujours facile d'accès mais tel est le choix. Le groupe est convaincu que son public est là, présent, prêt à écouter, entendre et vivre la musique de la même façon que tout le monde au sein du groupe. Avec le temps et bien sûr une exposition média qui doit encore grandir et se développer, la musique de REEL pourra s'imposer.

What a joy it is to see that the website Muzikvoice, a web based platform dedicated to the UK market, takes the time to listen to the music and decides to write about it. A true critic in which we as a band can work on.

Of course and as you know it since the beginning REEL has and always will be open to critics no matter what. The band believes totally in its music, songs, lyrics and musical choices. The direction is taken even if it is still a long one on the roads to Babylon. The band plays a music which might not be so easy listening at first hand but that's the choice taken. The band is more than certain that the fans are out there impatient, ready to listen to the music and walk along the musical adventure. In due time and with enough media coverage we all hope it will grow and grow so that at the end REEL's music will mark rock history!

Aujourd'hui nous vous présentons Patricia Tchellebides. Habitant à Grisy en Seine & Marne, France elle est donc l'artiste qui réalisa le tableau qui sera la pochette du nouvel album de REEL en cours de gestation.

Elle découvre la peinture dès l'âge de 16 ans et depuis, elle peint quasiment depuis jour et nuit. Elle adore la solitude de son atelier, se mettre dans l'ambiance du noir pour se concentrer et créer ses oeuvres. Tout en écoutant de la musique, de la REEL music! .Comme elle le dit si bien: "La peinture cela est ma vie .. j'en ai besoin ... ma drogue!"

Today we would like to present to you Patricia Tchellebides. Living in Grisy in Seine & Marne, France she is the artist that has drawn the painting which will be on the forthcoming REEL cover album.

She discovered painting at the age of 16 and never stopped since. Painting day and night is her habit! She loves the solitude in her painting room, to enter the dark before concentrating in making her paintings. Listening to music also, REEL music that is! As she always says: "I love painting ... it is my life ... I need it .. It's my drug"

Participant au même festival de musique que l'artiste Cindy, REEL sera donc sur scène dans le cadre du Festival Colors le 28 avril 2007 à la Case-à-chocs à Neuchâtel en Suisse.
