and REEL is on it! yes indeed we are! Unbelievable but true! REEL belongs to the big family and all customers of Swisscom Mobile can now access the portal Vodafone Live! and go to the Napster mobile shop and dowload REEL's music fulltrack on their mobile. Les boys se sont retrouvés après les diverses activités de ces derniers jours pour passer en revue les chansons joués lors du dernier concert. Le but était de se remettre dans le bain avant d'attaquer les futures et nouvelles échéances.

D'ici quelques jours le groupe va s'enfermer au studio colors pour terminer l'album Dominion en passant en revue toutes les nouvelles chansons, en éditant les parties, en nettoyant chaque piste pour garde que le meilleur du meilleur. Ensuite aura lieu le mix final pour donner à chaque morceau sa couleur définitive et donner tout le sens à l'album qui sera très intéressant en intriguant dans son ensemble!

En attendant le management travaille d'arrache pied pour stimuler les représentations live du groupe! Que du bonheur!

After the different activities the last few days, the boys meet again to play all the songs of the last concert. For them a chance to stay focused for the many things to come.

Within the next days the band will enter the studio colors to finish the album Dominion. All songs will be newly treated, all tracks will be cleaned and fully edited again to keep only the very best of the best for each song. Then the final mix will take place giving each song its final color but also the whole meaning and feeling to the album which will be very intresting and intriguing!

During that time the management is working hard to bring the band live again soon! Just pure joy!

So stay tuned as news will follow and some much more is to come as the REEL adventure continues!

16h30 tapante l'intro de Echoes sonne dans les haut-parleurs de la grande scène et le groupe monte sur scène sous un soleil qui tape fort. En effet il fait très très chaud même si la météo du matin était plutôt sous la pluie! Le groupe enchaine avec 15 Seconds / Way you Were / Another Day un bon bloc solide de rock & reel music. Suit Livin' on Livin' avec ensuite la suite plus "spatiale" avec des titres comme It Never Rains et Who's Behind the Door? La foule présente découvre la musique avec enthousiasme ce qui est bien sûr très prometteur. Just a Dream Away suit dans la foulée et Rythms of Life avec la présentation des musiciens, met tout le monde d'accord. REEL sonne superbement sur scène, il faut dire que la scène est exceptionnelle. BENE est sensass avec le public, un vrai échange!

En hommage aux artistes disparus le groupe suit avec Reel Music et termine le set de 60 mins avec le titre phare de l'album Lithium Heat of the Action avec comme fin finale la 4ème partie de fin Shadows in the Stream of Love!

Un excellent set de la part du band tant les réactions du public furent superbes après le concert. BENE et les boys ont passé pas mal de temps à discuter avec des "fans" qui étaient très intéressés d'en savoir plus! Que du bonheur! REEL really rocks!

430 PM sharp the intro of Echoes is heard in the speakers of the main stage and the band goes on under a true hot burning sun! At least that is better as the day started under pouring rain! The band kicks off with 15 Seconds / Way you Were / Another Day for a solid bloc of rock & reel music. Then follows Livin' on Livin' bringing the band to the more "spacy" part of the show with songs such as It Never Rains and Who's Behind the Door? Back to solid rock music with Just a Dream Away followed by Rythms of Life with the presentation of the musicians, which makes all agree REEL sounds superb on stage and BENE is at his best regarding stage performance and talking with the crowd!

In memory to all fallen artists the band plays Reel Music and finishes off the 60 mins set with the main title of the album Lithium Heat of the Action followed as closing end with the 4th part of Shadows in the Streal of Love!

Upon the crowd's reaction the set of the band has been an excellent one! BENE and the boys spend some time talking to "fans" at the end of the show who were very interested to know more about the band, the music and of course them! Just sheer great show! REEL really rocks!

Alors concernant le fameux concours pour être la 1ère partie de la Star Academy, cela ne fut suffisant pour REEL. Dommage cela sera pour la prochaine fois!

Mais la grande joie est que les musiciens de REEL soit Jay, Jul et Pat prêtant aussi mains fortes au groupe D-Verse City se sont qualifiés pour le casting final. La nouvelle vient de tomber d'ailleurs que D-Verse City sera la 1ère partie de la Star Academy le 24 juin au soir. Les musiciens auront la chance de jouer devant une foule de plus de 12'000 personnes. Tout le monde au sein de REEL WEB est très fier des gars et du travail effectué. Pour REEL cela sera la prochaine fois!

Regarding the famous contest to be the opening act for the Star Academy, it was not enough for REEL. Sad but who knows maybe next time!

But it comes to us with great joy to know that the musicians of REEL Jay, Jul & Pat who helped out a band called D-Verse City actually to qualify for the final casting. The news just came in and they made it as opening act for the Star Academy on June 24th. They will have a chance to play in front of at least 12'000 people. Everybody within REEL WEB are very happy for the boys and proud for what they have achieved. For REEL it will have to wait next time!

Depuis mai 2005 il s'est passé beaucoup de choses, voire même énormément de choses!

En tout cas un chemin super riche sur la route de Babylone! Since May 2005 many things have happened! Even a huge pile of stuff has happened!

Indeed the road to Babylon is a very rich one! This is a simple message from all members of the band to say thanks for each visit, for each page read, for each vote received in the different contests we entered, for each second of your life you send with us and following what we are doing! Indeed REEL will participate at the casting for the 1st part of the show of the french Star Academy which will take place on June 24th in Neuchâtel at the famous Stade de la Maladière! well we will see what happens and keep you posted about the results!

Ce fut une période très riche pour le groupe entre répétitions, préparations pour les divers concerts, les concerts avec les déplacements! Tout cette activité a permis de réaliser que le groupe est prêt de voyager, de se déplacer! Qu'il n'a pas de limites, toutes les frontières sont ouvertes et cela est super positif!

Maintenant il faut remettre les pierres les unes sur les autres pour avoir un élément tellement solide que REEL en concert sera vraiment quelque chose à voir et à entendre! Une expérience musicale digne des grands!

Well the last period for the band was a very rich one between rehearsals, getting ready for the shows, the shows with the traveling! Well all of this has shown that the band is ready to travel, to be on the road! No limits whatsoever beyond all frontiers and all of that is very positive!

Now it is important to put all stones together on top one another to have the most solid element that REEL can be. REEL live is a true great experience to be lived through eyes and sound! Like the big ones!

Voilà voilà!

Le résultat final est connu pour le fameux concours pour l'openair de Zurich. REEL termine à la 7ème place avec plus de 900 votes. Insuffisant pour continuer mais ma foi un très bon résultat puisque le groupe était dans le top 10 depuis le début de ce concours.

We have now the final result for the famous openair Zurich contest! REEL finishes 7th with over 900 votes. That is not enough to continue but still a very good result as the band waqs in the top 10 list since the start. So that is very positive and encouraging!
