Bonjour tout le monde!

Suite aux divers messages reçus, voici une réponse permettant de clarifier quelle est la position du groupe et ce qui se passe en coulisses :-)

Alors la réponse est simple, REEL est en studio et est en train d'enregistrer ce fameux 3ème album. Une bonne vingtaine de chansons de travail existent permettant de réaliser un vrai album solide et très rock. En effet le groupe a décidé d'explorer la version "métalisée" de REEL. Qu'est-ce que cela veut dire? Tout simplement que l'album sonnera rock à souhait tout en restant un album de REEL. Il sera chargé de guitares et de sons donnant toute sa dimension à ce que le groupe veut faire et représenter!

Pour le moment le gros du travail est fait avec les prises batterie, basse, claviers et guitare mais il reste encore du travail :-)

Thanks to all the received messages and it was time that you received all a statement from the band and what is happening behind the curtain backstage!

Indeed the answer is simple as REEL is in the studio and recording its 3rd album. About 20 songs are being recorded for the album so much work is going on right now and from what we hear the album will be a real rock album. Also according to the band, they will explore the "metalized" side of REEL. So what does it mean? Well that the album will be powerful and full of guitars, with the true REEL feel :-) So tons of surprises to be expected!

Until much has been done as all basic tracks of drume, bass, synths and guitars have been done but still much to do unil the end!

Après une pause additionnelle, le groupe a enfin terminé et mis en place son agenda pour l'enregistrement du nouvel album qui devrait voir le jour d'ici fin mars 2010! Voici une prime info! Donc d'ici ce grand moment, beaucoup de travail attendent les musiciens avec JAY qui sera de nouveau derrière les manettes :-)

After an additional break, the band got the agenda finally together and the recording can start. Normally the album should be finished by end march 2010 so that is a true breaking news! But before that great event, tons of loads of work are awaiting the band members with JAY being back again behind the mixing table :-)

Alors l'activité musicale de REEL a commençé. En effet les musiciens se sont retrouvés et ont pu discuter les diverses compositions existantes. Comme d'habitude les discussions furent riches et tumultueuses car forcément chacun cherche à donner son avis. Mais comme le tout est toujours pour le meilleur du groupe, c'est toujours une situation très intéressante.

Ces prochaines semaines JAY posera ses lignes de basse et PAT profitera de placer ses premiers claviers. La batterie temoin est en place et sonne superbement bien ce qui est déjà une très bonne chose en vue du résultat final :-)

Mais beaucoup de discussions d'ici le résultat final :-)

Hi to you all!

So the musical activity of the band REEL has picked up. Indeed all musicians have met in the studio and have discussed all written songs. As usual the talks were very interesting and loud as it is always tought to speak each other opinions but that is the beauty of it because at the end it is for the greater good of the songs. It makes it all more sparkling :-)

The following weeks JAY will lay down his bass lines and PAT will also put the first synths here and there on all songs. The demo drums are sounding just great and gives already a very good picture for the end result even if we are still a long way from it!

So many talks until the final cut which sounds very promising :-)
