Wow quel flashback cela fut pour BENE lors d'une séance de rangement durant le week.end! En effet il a retrouvé sur un support CD le fameux 45 tours qui fut enregistré en 1989 par les membres de REEL de l'époque avec quelques personnes en studio sous le nom de The Neu-Westend Project. Ce single avait vendu plus de 1500 exemplaires dans tout la Suisse et fut joué pendant quelques semaines sur des radios. Un sacré souvenir!

Voici donc pour vous ces deux chansons:

Les musiciens qui ont joué sur le single sont: BENE (guitares, Choeurs), D.Joubert (Claviers), D,Benaim (Chant), L.Godard (Choeurs), I.Banic (Basse sur Soldier of Fortune) et R.Zwart (Programmation batterie). L'enregistrement a eu lieu au Taurus Studio de Genève auprès de C.Lander qui a enregsitré et mixé les deux chansons.

Cela est donc tout simplement cadeau pour vous!

Wow what a flashback it has been during the week-end when BENE found on a CD the original songs from the first EP recorded. That recording took place back in 1989 with the original members of REEL with some additional musicians and came out under the name of The Neu-Westend Project. The EP sold over 1500 copies throughout Switzerland and was aired for a couple of weeks on several radios

So here are the 2 songs:

The musicians who played on the EP are: BENE (guitars, Backing Vocals), D.Joubert (Keyboards), D.Benaim (Vocals), L.Grodard (Backing Vocals), I.Banic (Bass on Soldier of Fortune) and R.Zwart (Drum Programming). The recording took place at the Taurus Studio in Geneva. It was engineered and mixed by C.Lander

BENE est enfermé depuis quelques jours déjà pour faire les prises de voix pour les chansons du nouvel album. Mais cela est un travail minutieux, cela prend un peu de temps!

Revenons quelques instants sur le fameux Caprices New Talent Tour car nous avons les résultats qui sont maintenant définitifs!

Pour le groupe a pu récolté pas moins de 1571 votes pour terminer 6ème au classement général et 2ème pour l'Hacienda Sonic de Sierre.

Merci à toutes et à tous pour ce superbe résultat!

Tristement cela est insuffisant pour continuer l'aventure mais tout le monde au sein de REEL vous remercie pour votre soutien sans failles!

Let's go back to the Caprices New Talent Tour as we have now the results and they are final:

For the band 1571 votes came in which is a true great result finishing 6th overall and 2nd for the Hacienda Sonic in Sierre.

Thank you for your devotion by voting for the band.

Sadly it is not enough to be qualified for the second round but still all at REEL thank you for everything!

Heure de gloire pour les musiciens de Colors Music & Cindy est enfin arrivée.

En effet elle a pu chanté sa fameuse 1ère chanson "Baby Sexy" lors de l'inauguration du stade de la Maladière à Neuchâtel, Suisse devant plus de 12000 personnes, .

Comme vous le savez tous Jay, Jul et Pat font partie de Colors Music et ont composé cette chanson qui a connu un grand succès en téléchargement puisqu'avec les 3 autres chansons qui furent proposées, plus de 100'000 téléchargements ont été réalisé.

La préparation d'un album est en cours ce qui est bien sûr une excellente nouvelle!

Time of glory happened for the musicians of Colors Music & Cindy!

Indeed she had the chance to sing the very first song released "Baby Sexy" at the stadium's inaugural in Neuchâtel, Switzerland in front of 12000 people.

As you all know Jay, Jul & Pat are part of Colors Music and wrote the song which with the other 3 releases have been downloaded more than 100'000 times.

Now an album is in the loop which is very good news of course!

Just a great bravo to you all!

Bonjour tout le monde,

L'aventure musicale de REEL continue après les déboires connus avec le Caprices New Talent Tour.  En effet et même si les résultats sont définitifs (enfin!) nous n'en connaissons nullement la suite. Il est donc grand temps d'aller de l'avant!

Comme nous l'avions déjà annonçé REEL participe au tremplin des Eurockéennes 07 avec couleur3 et mx3.ch! Il y a environ plus de 300 groupes suisses qui participent pour une place à ce festival! Il y a donc du beau monde et une compétition soutenue!

Pour nous aider et nous apporter votre soutien rien de plus simple, il suffit de cliquer sur le logo de mx3.ch placé sur le site, aller écouter & télécharger les chansons, laisser des commentaires. Ceci est la base de la compétition. Le jury ensuite choisira et informera les divers gagnants pour la finale le 23 mars prochain.

Hello to you all,

The musical adventure of REEL will go on and on even if all went wrong with the Caprices New Talent Tour. Indeed even if the results are now actually known (finally!) we have no news of what is going on so for us all it is time to go ahead!

The next step as already announced on the band's website is the tremplin for the Eurockéennes 07 with couleur3 & mx3.ch! There are about 300 bands that entered the competition for one spot at the festival! The competition will be tough with a lots of great bands!

To help us and vote for us it is qute simple actually! Just click on the mx3.ch logo, go to the dedicated webpage, listen and download the songs, leave comments! That is the main rule of the competition. A jury will choose several bands for the final taking place on march 23rd.

SO already thank you to play along with us and hope that god of the musica will be with us! :-) Thanks!

Carton rouge à l'organisation du Caprices New Talent Tour avec Orangemusic.ch tout simplement car non seulement il n'y a pas de réponse de la part du support mais tous les groupes sont dans un flou total. Donc carton rouge de notre part car nous exprimons notre mécontentement de cette situation. Car le résultat final est important et pour le moment il est difficile de dire lequel il est vraiment!

Red card to the organization of the Caprices New Talent Tour with Orangemusic.ch as until now we have received no news from them not know exactly the final result. All bands are left in the dark so we decided to express ourselves and speak our mind freely. This situation is unacceptable. The final results are still unknown and nobody knows what is going on!

Nous vous informons que le management voit rouge en ce moment suite à la participation du groupe au Caprices New Talent Tour avec Orangemusic.ch. En effet les votes devaient être fermés le 11.02 pour 1200. Et comme par hasard non seulement cla ne fut pas le cas mais vous pouvez voter encore ... Comme quoi le management a pris la décision de dénoncer cela auprès du support d'orangemusic.ch et de vous informer de la situation.

Nous regrettons ce type d'attitude car il est malsain de traiter les groupes ainsi et cela est clairement non professionnel de la part de l'organisation.

Nous vous tiendrons au courant de la suite de ce triste épisode.

Hello to you all,

We would like to take the opportunity that the management sees red at the moment regarding the band's participation at the Caprices New Talent Tour with orangemusic.ch. Indeed, the votes should have been closed on 11.02 at 1200 but not only it was not the case but you can still vote. So the management decided to express its opinion upon that situation directly to the supoprt of orangemusic.ch and you of course so that you realise what is going on.

We are deeply sad about that type of attitude which is of course not good for the bands and the way they are treated and shows a real non professional behaviour of the organizing t eam.

So we express ourselves and will inform you about that sad episode.

24 hours to go before the end of votes still needed by the band (Thank you not to forget to put  5 stars at it seems that for each vote, the star system is highly important!) to be qualified for the second round of the Caprices New Talent. If the band is chosen, the final round will take place at the Hacienda Sonic in Sierre, Valais, Switzerland on february 24th.

Salut tout le monde!

Petit retour sur le bébé à venir qu'est le nouvel album de REEL. En effet son titre sera bien "DoMiNiOn" et cela n'a rien à voir avec le mot domination. Le groupe ne subit aucune contrainte sado-masochiste de domination quelconque ;-) Pour tout le monde au sein de REEL le titre de l'album veut clairement exprimer une liberté totale dans la musique et vous le verrez bien comme chaque morceau est si différent de l'autre tout en restant fidèle à l'univers musical présenté.

Hello to all of you!

Just some additional infromation about the new child which will be the new REEL album. Indeed its title is "DoMiNiOn" and it has nothing to do with any dominiation theory. The band will not bow to any sado-machosist type of domination whatsoever ;) For everybody within REEL's world the title expresses the total liberty in the way we do our music and you will see even if each song is really different from another, all stays focused to the musical world presented.
