Dans la foulée nous profitons tous de souhaiter un superber anniversaire à BENE qui a eu 43 ans ce jour et qui le passe en tenue gris verte sous les drapeaux. Mais soyez-en sûrs il est 100% ready de retrouver le groupe et d'avancer ce nouvel album dont nous savons que le titre est presque final. Une annonce ? ... très prochainement :-)

So let's take the chance to celebrate BENE's birthday as he turns 43 today. We all wish him well and the very best on this day. He is at the swiss military service but from what we heard very eager to enter the studio and work on the band's new project. There are some rumours that the album's name is chosen .. can we know something ? ... soon very soon :-)

Désolé de ce retard dans la mise à jour des informations concernant le groupe mais il n'y a pas eu une seconde de repos pendant cette transition de 2010 à 2011. Et personne ne s'en plaindra :-)

En effet tous les membres du groupe sont super occupés avec leurs diverses activités (JAY produisant de nouveaux artistes, JUL composant de nouvelles chansons pour divers artistes, BENE au four et au moulin entre son activité professionnelle, la musique du groupe etc .. et PAT qui suit le mouvement de très près)

Reprenons les choses dans l'ordre:

REEL WEB espère que tout le monde a passé de superbes fêtes de fin d'année et une excellente année 2011. Ensuite forçément :-) Bonne année 2011 :-)

Pour le groupe l'activité a déjà commençé puisque toute le monde passe en revue les chansons qui furent enregistrées pour apporter nouveauté et corrections. l'Album devra passer au mix final courant février pour voir le jour sous sa version définitive vers mi avril 2011. Donc encore beaucoup, beaucoup, beaucoup de travail mais la motivation est totale pour finaliser ce nouvel album. Nous savons que vous êtes tous impatients d'entendre les nouvelles compositions et donc le nouvel album mais il faudra encore un peu de patience, encore quelques semaines avant de dévoiler le nouveau bijou du groupe! Vous serez les premiers informés ici sur reelmusic.ch :-)

Hello to you all!

We do apologize for the delay by updating the website and giving you the very latest news of the band but there was no break for everybody and all jumped from 2010 directly into 2011 :-) And nobody really complains :-)

Indeed all band members were pretty much involved in all their projects (JAY producing artists, JUL writing hiphop music for new artists, BENE being overloaded with his daily work and PAT following him closely being also very busy)

So let's put all back into place and have a fresh news start :-)

REEL WEB wishes to all of you that you had a great holiday season and also a great 2011 :-) May all your wishes come true so ... happy new year 2011 to you all :-)

For the band the year has already started as all band members are also working again on the new recorded songs by either putting additional touches to all of them or making some changes. What is sure is that the album is going into the final mix by february and should be fully ready in its final version by april 2011. We all know you are impatient to hear what the band has been doing and how the new album will sound, we can tell you , it is sound bombastic :-) So a few weeks to go and we will be there and you will be the first to read it all here on reelmusic.ch :-)

Suite aux divers messages reçus, voici une réponse permettant de clarifier quelle est la position du groupe et ce qui se passe en coulisses :-)

Alors la réponse est simple, REEL est en studio et est en train d'enregistrer ce fameux 3ème album. Une bonne vingtaine de chansons de travail existent permettant de réaliser un vrai album solide et très rock. En effet le groupe a décidé d'explorer la version "métalisée" de REEL. Qu'est-ce que cela veut dire? Tout simplement que l'album sonnera rock à souhait tout en restant un album de REEL. Il sera chargé de guitares et de sons donnant toute sa dimension à ce que le groupe veut faire et représenter!

Pour le moment le gros du travail est fait avec les prises batterie, basse, claviers et guitare mais il reste encore du travail :-)

Thanks to all the received messages and it was time that you received all a statement from the band and what is happening behind the curtain backstage!

Indeed the answer is simple as REEL is in the studio and recording its 3rd album. About 20 songs are being recorded for the album so much work is going on right now and from what we hear the album will be a real rock album. Also according to the band, they will explore the "metalized" side of REEL. So what does it mean? Well that the album will be powerful and full of guitars, with the true REEL feel :-) So tons of surprises to be expected!

Until much has been done as all basic tracks of drume, bass, synths and guitars have been done but still much to do unil the end!

Après une pause additionnelle, le groupe a enfin terminé et mis en place son agenda pour l'enregistrement du nouvel album qui devrait voir le jour d'ici fin mars 2010! Voici une prime info! Donc d'ici ce grand moment, beaucoup de travail attendent les musiciens avec JAY qui sera de nouveau derrière les manettes :-)

After an additional break, the band got the agenda finally together and the recording can start. Normally the album should be finished by end march 2010 so that is a true breaking news! But before that great event, tons of loads of work are awaiting the band members with JAY being back again behind the mixing table :-)

Voici quelques nouvelles toutes fraiches de ce qui se passe au sein du groupe. En effet ces derniers temps la vie a pas mal chahuté les différentes membres du groupes pour des raisons diverses et donc un break fut nécessaire. Les heures studios peuvent être des moments superbes mais aussi être la source de de tensions.

Soyez rassurés, rien n'est remis en cause. Parfois on se trouve aux croisements et des choix doivent être faits, le plus simple est de faire un pause ce qui fut fait pour pouvoir aller de l'avant!

Here are some fresh news from what is going on inside the band. Indeed lately the life of the band members came to some crossroads and for different reasons a break was needed. Hours of studio recording came be wonderful but also the source of tensions.

But be reassured nothing is put aside, the needed break is been done and sometimes in life you need to stop for awhile before going on!

Alors l'enregistrement avance, chanson par chanson, et onde sonore par onde sonore :-) Le travail de création est magique et le résultat est époustouflant! PAT est inspiré comme jamais et fait souffrir son synthé pour sortir des sont très étranges mais qui permettent de donner une ambiance superbe à chaque chanson enregistrée. Pour le moment il est encore difficile de dire comment l'album sonnera mais il sera riche, très riche même car le travail de chacun est minutieux et précis.

So the recording of the album is undergoing and going ahead step by step, sonic wave by sonic wave :-) The work is just magical and the result until now just great! PAT is really inspired these days and brings out the best out of his synths with strange sounds that bring a great ambiance to the album. For now it is a bit difficult to say what is album is really like but it will be big, a very big one :-) because the work of each member is more precise than ever :-)
