Après un week end en musique, une nouvelle triste pour REEL et son réseau de distribution!

En effet la société Soundoo.com a décidé de fermer ses opérations ce qui est bien sûr une triste nouvelle pour tous les artistes indépendants en europe! Un moyen de moins pour distribuer et vendre la musique. Cette décision sera effective dès demain en fait et le Soundoo store sera fermé. Donc dernière chance d'acheter l'album Lithium sur le site :-) soyons positifs! Le lien sera ensuite retiré et les divers points de ventes seront mis à jour sur le site du groupe!

After a week end with music, today we have a sad new for REEL and its distribution network!

Indeed the company Soundoo.com has decided to cease all activities and will be closing down its operations. It is a sad news not only for the band but for all independent artists that had their music distributed thourgh that channel. This decision will be effective tomorrow and the Soundoo store will be closed. So that will be your last chance to buy the album Lithium there :-)Stay positive! The link will bthen taken away from the point of sales of the band's website!

Flashback!

Wow quel flashback cela fut pour BENE lors d'une séance de rangement durant le week.end! En effet il a retrouvé sur un support CD le fameux 45 tours qui fut enregistré en 1989 par les membres de REEL de l'époque avec quelques personnes en studio sous le nom de The Neu-Westend Project. Ce single avait vendu plus de 1500 exemplaires dans tout la Suisse et fut joué pendant quelques semaines sur des radios. Un sacré souvenir!

Voici donc pour vous ces deux chansons:

(B.Fontana)

Les musiciens qui ont joué sur le single sont: BENE (guitares, Choeurs), D.Joubert (Claviers), D,Benaim (Chant), L.Godard (Choeurs), I.Banic (Basse sur Soldier of Fortune) et R.Zwart (Programmation batterie). L'enregistrement a eu lieu au Taurus Studio de Genève auprès de C.Lander qui a enregsitré et mixé les deux chansons.

Cela est donc tout simplement cadeau pour vous!

Wow what a flashback it has been during the week-end when BENE found on a CD the original songs from the first EP recorded. That recording took place back in 1989 with the original members of REEL with some additional musicians and came out under the name of The Neu-Westend Project. The EP sold over 1500 copies throughout Switzerland and was aired for a couple of weeks on several radios

So here are the 2 songs:

The musicians who played on the EP are: BENE (guitars, Backing Vocals), D.Joubert (Keyboards), D.Benaim (Vocals), L.Grodard (Backing Vocals), I.Banic (Bass on Soldier of Fortune) and R.Zwart (Drum Programming). The recording took place at the Taurus Studio in Geneva. It was engineered and mixed by C.Lander
